President of Kosovo asks Bosnian Grand Mufti’s assistance for recognitions
President of the Republic of Kosovo Fatmir Sejdiu sought the assistance of Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mustafa Ceric on new recognitions of Kosovo. After a meeting with Ceric, Sejdiu said that Kosovo is a secular state that respects rights and freedoms of all religious communities. “I value the work done by the Islamic Community of Kosovo and the contribution it is giving on strengthening of the Kosovo democratic state. I also call on the Islamic Community of Bosnia to work on recognitions of Kosovo by the Islamic world countries,” stated Sejdiu. In the meantime, Ceric said that he comes to Kosovo with desire that the Kosovo Albanians and Bosniaks can get closer to each other.
