She testified that she had no doubt Mueller had groped her during a photo opportunity before the singer's concert at Denver's Pepsi Center four years ago. "I could see that there was something horribly wrong". She acknowledged that Dent had seen Mueller "reach under my skirt and grab my ass". The singer's mum went on to explain they opted not to report the alleged assault to the police, because they didn't want the incident to "define" Taylor's life.
"He did not touch my rib, he did not touch my hand, he didn't touch my arm, he grabbed my bare a-", Swift testified. She felt sick, she recalled what happened and said, "I was very upset ..." While Andrea Swift admitted on the stand that she wanted Mueller to be fired, Bell - who contacted KYGO General Manager Bob Call that night - says their goal was for the station to conduct an investigation and do what management saw fit. Mueller has demanded $3 million from Swift, claiming his firing from KYGO cost him that much in lost wages, earning capacity and damage to his reputation.
On the other hand, Douglas Baldridge, Swift's attorney, accused Mr Mueller of having given seven accounts of the incident, while he also accused the DJ of destroying taped conversations with his bosses about the alleged crime.
Swift told the jury she tried to get as far away from Mueller as she could after the photo.
The civil trial began on Monday and is expected to last nine days. It shows Mueller, his girlfriend and Swift standing together, smiling.
Mueller attorney Gabriel McFarland said during questioning that Simbeck was making an assumption because Mueller's hand position can not be seen in the photo, which has not been publicly released.
"I'm critical of your client sticking his hand under my skirt and grabbing my ass".
"My hand was at rib-cage level and apparently it went down", he said in earlier testimony.
She testified she first mentioned the incident about 15 minutes later to her photographer, Stephanie Simbeck.
"Our meet-and-greets are much smaller", she said. "I don't believe (I saw it), I know I saw it".
