E-PACE is the newest member to join Jaguar's SUV line-up that include all-electric I-PACE Concept and the Jaguar F-PACE. They closely resemble those of the electric Jaguar I-Pace concept which was shown at the 2016 Los Angeles motor show.
The five-seat crossover is the third vehicle in Jaguar's SUV push, joining the critically acclaimed F-Pace and the upcoming all-electric I-Pace.
Jaguar has unveiled its mid-sized SUV in all its glory.
"We wanted to give E-Pace a very different look from F-Pace", said Wayne Burgess, the man who heads up the design team behind it. The app will find your parked auto if you've forgotten where you left it.
The F-Type-theme continues on the inside, says Autocar.
"It would've been much easier to just scale down an F-Pace, and I think half of the world would've been expecting that".
Well, Jaguar ensured that tall passengers are equally comfortable inside the E-Pace's cabin and the tall seating position helps the case.
"It allows Jaguar Land Rover to offer its customers even more exciting new vehicles, to protect against currency fluctuations and to build a globally competitive business", the statement added. From the pronounced shoulders and character lines right down to the shape of the seats, it exudes style everywhere you look. A two-tone approach used in that vehicle is also incorporated in the E-Pace. Jaguar claims that the entry-level 150PS diesel will return 60.1mpg and 124g/km of CO2.More news: Nadal crashes out of Wimbledon, Murray reaches quarterfinals

This baby is all set to compete with the likes of BMW X1. A 2 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine exists at the core of this auto.
Jaguar says the feature count will be high across most variants including - S, SE and HSE trims, while there's the sportier looking R-Dynamic model as well on offer. Both have a ZF 9-speed automatic transmission and are all-wheel drive as standard. The latter of those engines will be paired to the range-topping model which can accomplish the 0-100km/h sprint in 6.4 seconds.
The usual gaggle of connectivity features are available, including 4G hotspot, real-time traffic in the Nav system and apps such as Spotify.
Jaguar has managed to get the front-wheel-drive E-Pace's Carbon dioxide emissions down to 124g/km, meaning company-car drivers will be liable for a Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) tax rate of 26% - but this requires you to choose 17-inch alloy wheels.
According to the Jag design boss, early on in the E-PACE's conception he had to intervene to prevent the little SUV from aping its bigger brother, the F-PACE, styling. The R-Dynamic version begins at $48,245.
All E-Pace models come with autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and there is a range of stability systems to ensure the driver remains in control in other situations where there is a risk of skidding, a trailer affecting the balance of the vehicle or avoiding rolling when cornering severely in an emergency.
