Youngstown: City of YOUngstown's annual Fireworks Display, beginning at 10 p.m.at Covelli Centre, 229 E. Gatlinburg's Independence Day Parade kicks off at midnight on July 3. Following the parade, there will be a complimentary barbeque cookout at the Lion's Club.

Fireworks sales at licensed seasonal retailers are legal in Missouri from June 20 to July 10. The Grand Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. on Lake Avenue.

The United Methodist Church is putting on its 55th annual Fourth of July Auction and BBQ from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. on the church lawn. Game begins at 6:05 p.m.

The fireworks event has a presenting sponsor, Charles Town's Skinner Law Firm, and Parks and Rec officials are continuing to accept donations.

Gilmanton celebrates the 4 of July with all-day festivities including a parade at 10 am. The two-day event runs from 9 a.m.to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Following the parade, the Lisle Heritage Society will host an ice cream social on the grounds of the Museums at Lisle Station Park, 921 School Street in Lisle just north of Village Hall.

The jampacked holiday is the work of the all-volunteer Fourth of July Committee, while the parade itself shows off the many businesses and volunteer organizations that make Harvard such a rich community.
