Gatlinburg's Independence Day Parade kicks off at midnight on July 3. Following the parade, there will be a complimentary barbeque cookout at the Lion's Club.

The United Methodist Church is putting on its 55th annual Fourth of July Auction and BBQ from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. on the church lawn. Game begins at 6:05 p.m.

Gilmanton celebrates the 4 of July with all-day festivities including a parade at 10 am. The two-day event runs from 9 a.m.to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Following the parade, the Lisle Heritage Society will host an ice cream social on the grounds of the Museums at Lisle Station Park, 921 School Street in Lisle just north of Village Hall.
