KXIP vs KKR Live Score

Raw presents Fastlane tonight on the WWE Network, and the main event pits Goldberg challenging Kevin Owens for the Universal championship.

Seizing his opportunity, a clinical Goldberg speared Owens before hitting him with his Jackhammer finisher to become the new champion in less time than it's taken you to read this article so far. "See you in 28 DAYS, @BrockLesnar!" noted WWE's Twitter account alongside a photo of Goldberg holding up his new title.

This Fastlane PPV raises a lot of questions about Wrestlemania 33. But with that out of the picture, all we can do is waiting for Lesnar to finally avenge his two losses and win the Universal championship from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33.

Elsewhere at Fastlane, Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman clean with not even a hint of an expected appearance by The Undertaker.

But with Sasha Banks contributing to Charlotte's defeat and Strowman likely to want revenge on The Big Dog, Bayley and Reigns are unlikely to have heard the last of their Fastlane foes. The reason behind this is that it's becoming increasingly, and terrifyingly, clear that Owens will be dropping the belt so Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania can be made even bigger.

Samoa Joe was brought in as The Game's heavy, originally providing a bridge to the eventual showdown on April 2. On the other hand, the Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho story has consistently been the most entertaining thing about RAW, and deserved to be the big title match heading into 'Mania. Bayley hit her Bayley-to-Bely for the win, but Sasha's interference could mean she's about to turn heel.

On top of that, if Goldberg wins the title tonight, he faces Brock Lesnar, another part-time wrestler, at WrestleMania. Sunday's event will also feature a Raw Women's Championship match between title holder Bayley and challenger Charlotte, who holds a winning streak at pay-per-views.

Not only that, he defeated the reigning champion with total dominance. Rollins spent the final weeks of 2016 calling out his former mentor until he finally emerged to set up their WrestleMania feud.

The match featured strong high spots and really sold the idea that Strowman is a legitimate main event villain. Punk, after the longest WWE Championship reign of last 25 years, lost to the latter just so he could headline WrestleMania and lose to John Cena.
