Trump is a good man and yet the continuous attacks on him, his family and his administration are disgusting. The office is called VOICE, Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement. By the time that these events got off the ground, the media had broken word of Trump's announcement, thus jazzing up the Deplorables even more.
Unfortunately, most of the Congressional Democrats worked hard to make themselves look small, even petty, refusing to applause, openly groaning and almost tripping over each other to make a hasty exist after the conclusion of the president's speech.
Democrats are in the minority on Capitol Hill, and they have pledged to do everything they can to block a Trump agenda that aims to undo key parts of President Obama's legacy.
But outside of the protectionism and a few points about immigration, the substance could have been delivered by any moderate Republican or moderate Democrat (if one could be found). But he has fights ahead where his stated positions deviate from GOP priorities. The American people are speaking out like never before in defense of our democracy from inside the intelligence community to farmers in the heartland.
Trump's supporters have flung themselves into the cause, hoping the election of an outsider will shake up the elites and insider politics in Washington.
Trump promised a massive renewal of American jobs, infrastructure, and the military. Consider the Tea Party Express, the biggest of the tea party PACs.
