Public schools are "the foundation of our society, that's how everybody learns what's right and wrong", Schwartz said. "The most important concern is that she has no experience in public education".

The vast majority of protesters were peaceful. This should of course be the first of many warning signs when it comes to confirming an individual such as DeVos. One need look no further than OH to understand the perils of publicly funding private schools without demanding accountability.
